NCASB Swimming Order of Events
Below is the order of events that are used for all NCASB tournaments:
- 200 Medley Relay
- 200 Freestyle
- 200 IM
- 50 Freestyle
- 100 Butterfly
- 100 Freestyle
- 500 Freestyle
- 200 Freestyle Relay
- 200 Freestyle Co-ed Relay
- 100 Backstroke
- 100 Breaststroke
- 400 Freestyle Relay
* Each Co-ed relay team must have 2-female and 2-male swimmers. The
individual schools may designate the order in which the individual relay
participants will swim.
*Each school may only participate in a maximum of two of the three 200 freestyle
relay events.
example:
A. 200 girls free relay and 200 boys free relay with no 200 co-ed free relay
B. 200 girls free relay and 200 co-ed free relay with no 200 boys free relay
C. 200 boys free relay and 200 co-ed free relay wit no 200 girls free relay
* Participants may not exceed their limit of 5 events (3 ind./2 relay or 3 relay/2 ind.).
* Only one co-ed relay team per school may be entered.
Scoring:
Each gender of the co-ed relay team scores one-half of their co-ed relay team points. (Ex: 1st place co-ed team scores 32 points in the NCASB Conference Championship. Sixteen points would them be awarded to the boys teams and 16 points would also be awarded to the girls teams).
